Platting a frame takes longer than you would think...

Holes Cut With Only Air and Electricity: 20
Circuit Breakers Tripped: 1... twice
Curse Words Shouted at Circuit Breaker: Not Enough

Day 4:

I'm going to assume by now that you know when I say Day I actually mean Night, so I won't mention it again. Day 4 again was a slow one. A birthday dinner after work slowed progress for a second night, but it was fine since it was a friends birthday not just some random relative.

Now if you tuned in yesterday you would have seen me laying out the templates for the frame plating and cutting them out of my 4' x 4' sheet of 1/8". Well today I finished cutting them by cutting holes in the center so that the plates will have that much more weld surface holding them to the frame and holding the frame together. The rear portions got 5 1 1/2" holes each and the front portion got 3 2 1/2" holes and 2 1 1/2" holes.

By quitting time I had gotten all four plates cut out, ground clean of slag, and one of them half way welded on. The goal for tonight is to get all four of the plates welded on so I can begin the frame notch on Thursday.
