It's kinda starting to look like a jungle gym... guess that means I'm heading in the right direction!

"Today I pulled two metal slivers out of myself, one 1/8" piece from my wrist and one 1/4" piece from my foot. I think this is a sign that this is taking too long."

Day 19

This update will be short and sweet. Tonight I continued working on my bed cage. Up until this point everything has sort of had a set way of doing things. The links mounted a certain way, the frame was platted a certain way, ect. Well when I comes to mounting the shocks and building the bed cage (which houses the fuel cell, tires, batteries, cooler, jack, ect) there is no one way or even right way to do it. Sure there are some general rules to follow, you have to be mindful of load paths and got to watch for 'dead tubes', but over all the design is totally open. So besides having an idea in my head and a sketch on my white board there is no guide to what I am doing. I am glad to report that things are indeed shaping up just how I have envisioned it.
