When you see supertruck after supertruck, it's easy to get discouraged. After all, that thing in your driveway probably isn't ready for the Laughlin Leap or even the Wild Wash 250.

Just the same, your truck sees its fair share of dirt miles in between trips to work, the hardware store, and hauling stuff for your family and friends.

This Suspension Innovation Motorsports-built Ranger is right up the alley of those who need streetablility from their off-road trucks.

This is an upcoming feature for the print side of Off-Road, so we'll just hit some highlights here.

Details abound on this truck, and go beyond the suspension and steering. If you look closely at the worm's-eye-view shot, you can see the custom battery tray and custom charcoal canister bracket. Typical over-the-top Suspension Innovation Motorsports workmanship is standard-issue.

Tom McKenzie of Suspension Innovation Motorsports (SI Motorsports) has a formula for building these trucks that's time-proven and well-rehearsed.

More later.
