Just what I needed to clear my head and have some fun in the dirt!

The next time you search for an amazing off-road destination loaded with 20 mile long washes, giant sand hills, rock gardens and enough whoop sections to give you a headache, be sure to consider Ocotillo Wells, CA.

My loaner 2010 Polaris RZR-S did an amazing job over the weekend. These vehicles can take a serious pounding without flaw.

As I mentioned in a previous blog, the cage Latest Concepts and Design did on Ryan's cage was incredible. Beautiful TIG welds all over the place, dual LED light bars, rear light housing, aluminum doors and roof skin, mounts for a GPS, Race Radio and more.

Have you ever deep fried a turkey? We cooked up two on our trip, both of them came out golden brown and delicious. Not greasy one bit!

If you escape from the normal campground in Ocotillo you will discover an vast network of washes that provide a ton of exciting driving.

We found a small motorcycle bowl and decided to have some fun too!

The Pumpkin Patch is a popular spot in Ocotillo. Hundreds of round rocks are littering the area giving it it's name.

The Sand Damn is one of many giant sand hills around. It's not Glamis, but if sand is your kind of fun, Oco has that too.
