It's been a few days since the King of the Hammers race, and we're just getting back into the swing of things.
If you haven't heard already, the JKOH Wrangler was unable to make the full two laps, but it did go 1.5 laps with minimal body damage, proving that racing a full-bodied vehicle in King of the Hammers is possible! Read the June 2011 issue for the story.
Larry McRae did an awesome job piloting the race-ready, street-legal JK Wrangler through some spectacular sections.
McRae walked up obstacles that turned full-race buggies over and on their lids. It just goes to show what a good driver behind the wheel can do.
